Tampa police say two men known to each other got into an argument that led to a shooting Monday morning, leaving one of them in critical condition.<\/p>\n
TAMPA, Fla. \u2014 Tampa police are investigating a shooting that sent one man to the hospital in critical condition.<\/p>\n
Officers said this happened before 9:30 a.m. Monday in the area of Kennedy Blvd. and North Meridian Ave., where a man in his mid-50s was found with a gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital, where he is in critical condition, but is stable.<\/p>\n
TPD says the shooter, another man in his 50s, was detained and a gun was taken into evidence. All parties are accounted for and there are no other suspects.<\/p>\n
Police believe this was not a random act of violence and both men are known to each other. They also say this shooting stems from an incident between the two that happened on Friday.<\/p>\n
Westbound traffic along Kennedy Blvd. is currently being diverted to allow for the investigation.<\/p>\n
