For the 12th year, a full week of style overload will be taking over the Broward area.<\/p>\n
Diana Campo: \u201cThe environment is very artistic and full of positivity and very sophisticated glamour. For these events, you need to go extra.\u201d<\/p>\n
Two days of runway shows are guaranteed to be filled with international designers.<\/p>\n
Diana Campo: \u201cIt\u2019s very significant, these designers, because they\u2019re going to show us the future of fashion.\u201d<\/p>\n
One local newbie is showing off her crochet designs.<\/p>\n
Debora Dossan: \u201cI moved here nine years ago. I am from Brazil, S\u00e3o Paulo. All my life, I had these dreams about fashion, but right now, I say it\u2019s time.\u201d<\/p>\n
Euforja is bringing the beach vibes on the catwalk.<\/p>\n
Debora Dossan: \u201cThis collection, the name is \u2018High Seas,\u2019 so because of that, I bring more mermaid style, so we have long dresses, we have a lot of geometric cuts. The dress is handmade but have a lot seashells, a lot of pearls.\u201d<\/p>\n
Showing off skin with these looks is about female empowerment.<\/p>\n
Debora Dossan: \u201cNormally, the back is open because I love to show the open back, I think the woman\u2019s so powerful. We need to show our curves.\u201d<\/p>\n
For G-Destin Collection, coming back to the FLL runway is about love.<\/p>\n
Garry Destin: \u201cI started with Fort Lauderdale Fashion Week from the beginning, which means I\u2019m one of the oldest, senior.\u201d<\/p>\n
From accessories to complete outfits, designing and creating are his passion. And he\u2019ll be showing off what he\u2019s been manifesting so far.<\/p>\n
Garry Destin: \u201cI\u2019m thinking about seven looks. What it is, is that these designs, they are so difficult. It\u2019s gold velvet, it\u2019s old gold velvet. White silk wool, very thin and with pearls. My theme \u2013 always, always voodoo. I love my culture and I want people to understand it.\u201d<\/p>\n
