The black scrim in question covered the piece the held the red gloved hand, which then held the sign. We were hoping that with the removal of the scrim, the dining venue\u2019s sign would return.<\/p>\n Alas, it has not.<\/p>\n Pictured above is the black scrim.<\/p>\n The sign was first removed in the fall of 2019 as the quick-service restaurant was repainted. Five years later, it\u00a0finally returned in November 2024<\/a>. Blue, red, and yellow decorative elements were then added to the pole below the ham slice marquee. It was removed again in early 2025<\/a>.<\/p>\n The sign, pictured above, depicted Sam-I-Am holding a plate of Green Eggs and Ham out to the reluctant character. The sign was seemingly held up by the red-gloved hand, which is also still missing.<\/p>\n In 2021, Dr. Seuss Enterprises announced they would stop publishing and licensing six Dr. Seuss books because they \u201cportray people in ways that are hurtful and wrong.\u201d At that time, Universal announced they would\u00a0evaluate the use of these books in Seuss Landing<\/a>. Since then, the land has\u00a0seen a lot of work<\/a>, although not much to do with the books in question. The\u00a0\u201cBrown & Blacks\u201d ICEE sign was removed<\/a>.\u00a0Caro-Seuss-el<\/a>\u00a0and the\u00a0\u201cIf I Ran the Zoo\u201d playground<\/a>\u00a0underwent refurbishments. Most of the\u00a0land\u2019s\u00a0entrance archway was torn down<\/a>\u00a0and never returned. Circus McGurkus closed in 2023 for refurbishment,\u00a0reopening in early 2024<\/a>. The\u00a0Sneetches returned to their beaches<\/a>\u00a0this summer after a 2 1\/2-year absence.<\/p>\n Green Eggs and Ham Cafe<\/a> mostly serves\u00a0tater tot dishes<\/a>, including Green Eggs & Ham Tots.<\/p>\n Do you think this sign will ever return?
