What\u2019s Up FMB announced a new wellness-focused community event is coming to Fort Myers Beach with the debut of \u201cGlow by the Gulf,\u201d a one-day beachside experience centered around movement, mindfulness, and coastal living.<\/p>\n
The free event will take place on Saturday, April 18 with activities throughout the day at Santini Marina Plaza and the surrounding beachfront.<\/p>\n
The program will feature a full lineup of wellness programming including sunrise and sunset yoga on the beach, guided meditation and wellness sessions, fitness classes, movement-based activities and a sunset sound bowl experience.<\/p>\n
A curated health and wellness vendor village at Santini Marina Plaza will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The vendor village will showcase a range of health, wellness, beauty, and fitness-focused businesses, offering attendees the opportunity to explore products and services that support healthy, active lifestyles.<\/p>\n
All beach wellness sessions are free and open to the public, creating an accessible and welcoming experience for both residents and visitors.<\/p>\n
\u201cGlow by the Gulf is about bringing people together in a simple, meaningful way-through movement, relaxation, and connection on the beach,\u201d said What\u2019s Up FMB President and founder Dawn Miller. \u201cWe\u2019re excited to introduce something new that reflects the natural energy and lifestyle of Fort Myers Beach.\u201d<\/p>\n
Danielle Rambur, who is working with Miller on organizing the vent, said organizers will lead yoga participants onto the beach across from Santini Plaza.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt will all be really health and wellness oriented all to bring more of a good vibe to the island,\u201d Rambur said.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe vision behind Glow by the Gulf is to introduce both residents and visitors to innovative, accessible ways to support their health while also fostering a strong sense of connection and community here on the island. The event will also support a meaningful local fundraising initiative tied to the Fort Myers Beach Fourth of July fireworks and parade,\u201d Rambur said.<\/p>\n
Rambur works for Centropix, in the in-home medical sales industry. Her contacts in the industry helped her organize the health vendors at Santini Marina Plaza. The vendors include a cancer screening vendor, a fitness vendor, doctors and physical therapy.<\/p>\n
\u201cAll positive, health-centered,\u201d Rambur said. \u201cI always say don\u2019t wait for illness to start valuing your wellness.\u201d<\/p>\n
