Miami\u2019s favorite Venezuelan sourdough spot has finally made its Miami Beach debut permanent<\/a>. Caracas Bakery<\/a> has just opened its doors inside Harbour Club in Sunset Harbor<\/a>. The partnership brings the bakery\u2019s popular Venezuelan-inspired baked goods to the ground floor of the members-only social club. <\/p>\n The new spot, founded by James Beard-nominated bakers<\/a>, is open during the day when the club\u2019s upstairs restaurant, a\u2019Riva, is closed.<\/p>\n At the new digs, guests can expect a relaxed, ground-floor caf\u00e9 experience that is open to the general public. However, Harbour Club members will still maintain exclusive access to the menu from the club\u2019s second floor throughout the day. <\/p>\n Morning Favorites and Casa Caracas for Lunch<\/p>\n In the mornings, diners can expect the full lineup of staples that built the bakery\u2019s following at its MiMo location. This includes their sourdough-based breakfast sandwiches, frittatas, yogurt bowls, and a variety of toasts topped with avocado, salmon, or mushrooms.<\/p>\n At midday, the space transitions into Casa Caracas. This is the brand\u2019s new lunch operation that swaps pastries for heavier, wood-grilled proteins and a new cocktail program.<\/p>\n The kitchen will be turning out hearty plates for lunch. Some include a piri piri half chicken marinated in fermented Calabrian pepper and prawns saut\u00e9ed in garlic and lemon. Other highlights include a hanger steak served with guasacaca or harissa aioli. Oh, and not to mention the \u201cMassimo Bisanzio\u201d cold pasta tossed with cherry tomatoes, basil, and pine nuts. <\/p>\n The afternoon lineup is rounded out by seasonal sides, salads, and desserts like affogato and rich chocolate mousse.<\/p>\n A Neighborhood Anchor<\/p>\n For Braz\u00f3n and his family, the Sunset Harbour expansion is about more than just scaling the business<\/a>. \u201cFrom day one, Caracas Bakery was never just about bread \u2013 it\u2019s about building a place people feel part of,\u201d says Jes\u00fas Brazon, founder of Caracas Bakery. \u201cFor me, Harbour Club just made sense right away.
