IT’S IT’S WILD. I’M TRACKING 90. I’M TALKING HURRICANES NOW. Y’ALL LIKE WINTER IS DONE. NO. FLORIDA I SAY THAT THOUGH, BUT MY BIG WEATHER STORY IS A COLD FRONT. OH, IT’S JUST COLD WITH THIS, RIGHT? BECAUSE TEMPERATURE, IT’S NOT LIKE IT’S GOING TO REALLY DROP TEMPERATURES. IT JUST KIND OF BURSTS OUR HEAT BUBBLE A LITTLE BIT. SO WE’LL BE BRINGING OUR TEMPERATURES UP THESE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS. SUNDAY’S HIGH 92 DEGREES. MONDAY’S HIGH 82 DEGREES. SO YES IT DROPS TEMPERATURES ABOUT TEN DEGREES. BUT IT’S STILL THE 70S OF THE BEACHES AND THE 80S ACROSS THE INLAND AREAS. SO IT’S NOT LIKE IT’S GOING TO BE A HUGE WHIPLASH IN READINGS, RIGHT? THE REALITY IS THESE NEXT FEW DAYS, WE JUST REALLY BUILD IN THE HEAT. THEN THAT FIRST FRONT MOVES THROUGH, BUILD UP THE HEAT AGAIN, AND THEN IT LOOKS LIKE ANOTHER WEAKER FRONT MOVES IN AROUND THE 27, 28, 29TH OF APRIL. YOU NOTICE, THOUGH, IT DOESN’T PUT US BACK INTO THE UPPER 70S AND LOWER 80S. SO THAT FRONT LOOKS WEAKER AND OF COURSE WEAKER WEAKER. EVENTUALLY WE DON’T GET COLD FRONTS. SO WE’RE DEFINITELY STARTING TO MAKE THAT TRANSITION MORE AND MORE TOWARD MAY AND MORE AND MORE TOWARDS SUMMER. NOW, THAT SAID, LOOKING AT FUTURECAST, THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS WE STAY REALLY NICE AND DRY THROUGH SUNDAY, THEN INTO MONDAY, THAT FRONT MOVES IN AND WE SEE A FEW SHOWERS. NOT SIGNIFICANT, BUT THERE’S AT LEAST A MENTION OF A FEW SHOWERS ON THAT NORTHEASTERLY BREEZE, SO JUST KEEP THAT IN MIND. WE’RE PUTTING IN ABOUT A 20% COVERAGE OF RAIN ON MONDAY AND TUESDAY ISH, BUT FOR OUR WEEKEND BOTH DAYS GET THE CHECK MARK. IT’S GOING TO BE GREAT. GREAT WEATHER. HIGHS IN THE LOWER 90S. IF YOU’RE LOOKING FOR THINGS TO DO, THE SUN N FUN FLY IN STARTED YESTERDAY. THE FORECAST OVER THESE NEXT FEW DAYS IN LAKELAND BRINGS THOSE TEMPERATURES INTO THE 90S. AWFUL QUICK AIR SHOWS, INCLUDING A SATURDAY NIGHT AIR SHOW, A KIDS ZONE AND STATIC DISPLAYS. IT’S GOING TO BE A FANTASTIC FORECAST. YOU CAN ALSO HEAD OVER TO THE ATTRACTIONS LIVE, LOOK IN AT EPIC UNIVERSE DARK AND EARLY TEMPERATURES THERE HANGING OUT IN THE LOW TO MID 60S. WE HAVE 50S TO THE NORTH, 70 OVER INTO BREVARD COUNTY AND I’M NOT TRACKING ANYTHING ON OUR FIRST WARNING LIVE RADAR. SO FOR TODAY UPPER 70S TO LOWER 80S FOR THE BEACHES, MID 80S FOR THE METRO THOUGH NOTICE YOU GO OUT WEST AND IT GETS HOT. 88 IN WILDWOOD TODAY, 89 DEGREES IN OCALA. WE’RE JUST BRINGING UP THOSE TEMPERATURES. IF YOU’RE HEADING OUT TO EPIC UNIVERSE, TEMPERATURES ARE GOING TO CLIMB QUICKLY. OPENS UP AT 10 A.M. IT’S GOING TO BE A GREAT DAY GETTING INTO THE BACKYARD SWIMMING POOL. ALSO A GREAT DAY. BEACH BOATING FORECAST REMAINS ROUGH AT HIGH RISK OF RIP CURRENTS. SEAS OFFSHORE HAVE SUBSIDED AND SURF IS RUNNING 1 TO 2. IT’S THE RIP CURRENTS THAT WE’RE WORRIED ABOUT. SO SWIM AT A GUARDED BEACH. DO NOT GO TOO DEEP IN. ALL RIGHT, ALL RIGHT. LOTS OF SUNSHINE NEAR RECORD HEAT THIS WEEKEND. AND THEN THERE’S THAT FRONT O

A comfortable start with warm sunshine on Wednesday.Highs will reach the mid-80s this afternoon under mostly sunny skies.
