– Mart\u00edn Ojeda\u2019s next start will be his 100th in his Orlando City career in all competitions. Ojeda is set to become the third player on the active roster with 100 starts for the club, after Robin Jansson and Iv\u00e1n Angulo.<\/p>\n
– Duncan McGuire\u2019s next goal, his 32nd in all competitions for Orlando City, will pass Nani for fourth place in club history. McGuire has 27 MLS regular season goals, one behind Nani and current teammate Mart\u00edn Ojeda for third in club history.<\/p>\n

–\u00a0Orlando City opens up its 2026 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup campaign this Wednesday night with a first-time meeting with FC Naples of USL League One. The winner will advance to the Round of 16 to face either the New England Revolution or Rhode Island FC.<\/p>\n
– The Lions boast a storied history in the Open Cup dating all the way back to their own USL years, when the 2013 team took down Colorado Rapids and Sporting Kansas City on its way to the quarterfinals. Orlando won the tournament in 2022, knocking out rivals such as Inter Miami, Nashville SC, and Red Bull New York along the way. The Lions also made a semifinal run in 2019, which included the famous \u201cRunning of the Wall\u201d quarterfinal against NYCFC, when supporters made a mad dash to the south end of Inter&Co Stadium to support the boys in penalties.<\/p>\n
– This year marks the 111th edition of the U.S. Open Cup, America\u2019s oldest ongoing national soccer competition. The first edition of the Cup took place in 1913. Naples has won three straight games in all competitions and is on a 340-minute shutout streak entering Wednesday\u2019s game. – Naples\u2019 top player so far in 2026 has been 23-year-old winger Chris Garcia, a former Real Salt Lake Homegrown who has racked up 3g\/3a in seven games in all competitions.
