Bay Street Yard, downtown Fort Myers\u2019 popular outdoor entertainment venue, is inviting guests to don their finest hats for its Kentucky Derby watch party on Saturday, May 2.<\/p>\n
The casual-yet-upscale outdoor entertainment venue will bring the excitement of the \u201cRun for the Roses\u201d to Southwest Florida, showcasing the race on its impressive 8-foot by 13-foot LED TV screen with sound. Derby-themed drink specials will be available, including mint juleps for $10. Guests can also enjoy an on-site cigar roller, offering a curated selection of cigars for purchase.<\/p>\n
Bay Street Yard will host a Best Dressed Hat contest, with the winner receiving a $50 gift card. Attendees are encouraged to embrace the theme and dress in their best derby attire.<\/p>\n
Doors open at 11 a.m. and Charlie Pace will perform at 3 p.m. Following the race, the celebration will continue with live entertainment from Brandon Jackson at 7 p.m. and Ian Kelley at 10 p.m.<\/p>\n
