The daughter of a Tampa man killed in December is raising questions about a 911 call placed before he was found dead.<\/p>\n

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. \u2014 A woman accused of killing two exes in one day<\/a> pleaded not guilty in Hillsborough County on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

Susan Avalon was arraigned in connection with the death of her ex, Timothy Fletcher, who investigators say was killed in Tampa on Dec. 17. Authorities say Avalon then drove to Manatee County and killed her ex-husband, David Scott, hours later.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Last week, 10 Tampa Bay News uncovered new details about a 911 call\u00a0<\/a>placed from Fletcher\u2019s phone before he was found dead, raising questions about how it was handled.<\/p>\n

Fletcher\u2019s daughter. LottieGrace Snow, saw the report and said it was the first time she’d heard that her dad ever placed a 911 call.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Snow said she recently began rebuilding her relationship with her father before his death.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s what hurts a lot, I could have had a relationship, but it all got taken away from me,\u201d Snow said in an exclusive interview with 10 Tampa Bay News.<\/p>\n

She described her father as someone she admired.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe was very hardworking and determined,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

Snow said she is now attending court hearings and speaking out on his behalf. She also clarified that despite early statements from police, her dad has kids with Avalon, but the two were never married.<\/p>\n

\u201cI feel like I have to talk for him now and be his voice,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

Part of that effort includes raising concerns about the 911 call placed from her father\u2019s phone just before 12:40 p.m. the day he died.<\/p>\n

According to court records filed by the State’s Attorney’s Office, the call may have captured sounds consistent with gunfire before it disconnected. A dispatcher called back, and a woman answered, saying it was accidental. No officers were sent.<\/p>\n

Tampa police said procedures were followed, telling 10 Tampa Bay News the call showed no signs of distress so the response was canceled.<\/p>\n

Snow said she struggles to understand that decision.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf there\u2019s a 911 call and it\u2019s completely silent, they should go out, I think,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

Investigators say hours after that call, Avalon went on to kill another ex in Manatee County. Fletcher\u2019s body was not discovered until after that second killing.<\/p>\n

Snow said she may never know whether anything could have been done differently.<\/p>\n

\u201cHonestly, the killing could\u2019ve been stopped if they came. Why didn\u2019t they show up?\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

She also said she supports prosecutors pursuing the death penalty.<\/p>\n

\u201cI hope my dad gets justice,\u201d Snow said.<\/p>\n

The Tampa Police Department denied an open records request for the 911 call, citing the open investigation. After the court, the prosecutor declined to comment for the same reason.<\/p>\n
