Powhatan Avenue, where they found a man suffering from gunshot wounds inside a home.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The man was taken to a local hospital, but despite life-saving efforts, he died from his injuries.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Detectives say they&#8217;re gathering evidence and witness statements and working to determine the circumstances that led up to the shooting, as well as any people who may have been involved.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Authorities are asking anyone with more information to call the Tampa Police Department at 813.231.6130 and refer to report number 26-223114.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"A man is dead after a shooting Wednesday afternoon in Tampa.
