At press time, the weather was on track for Sunny Vibes Market<\/a> to deliver on that bright promise, with balmy climes forecast in the 80s and plenty of sunshine to accompany this new regular event\u2019s \u201cSunday fun day\u201d atmosphere.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s all local makers,\u201d says Glenn Closson, owner of Ivanhoe Park Brewing Co., where this, the third such Travel + Leisure<\/a>-sponsored event, will take place.<\/p>\n

The Ivanhoe Village brewery is no stranger to outdoor events and is always family- and dog-friendly. Sunny Vibes takes place on the third Sunday of every month.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a laidback Sunday outing kinda thing,\u201d he says, noting that with Travel + Leisure behind it, there\u2019s always a good grouping of vendors, as well as live music.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey have a nice budget to make it big and lots of fun.\u201d<\/p>\n

Also big and fun, the burgers from La Poporra<\/a>, whose Colombian burgers, hot dogs and more are straight-up massive.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt doesn\u2019t even come in a wrapper,\u201d Closson laughs. \u201cIt comes in this specialized carton they bring just because they\u2019re so big. It\u2019s like a little display board for your burger.\u201d<\/p>\n

Additionally, Ivanhoe Park Brewing Co.\u2019s recently expanded kitchen will be grinding out pretzels with housemade beer cheese, Cajun boiled peanuts, their popular scratch-made meatballs and more. Prime for those who don\u2019t normally head over to their sister brewery, Ivanhoe Park Lager House, chef Jeremy Martin will be hauling their house pizza dough to the Ivanhood and churning out pies for the Sunny Vibes crowds.<\/p>\n

The former Gatlin Hall and Pizza Bruno pizzaiolo has spun up slightly different doughs in each place he\u2019s worked, says Closson.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe nice thing is that at the Lager House, the [reverse osmosis] system allows him to make water for the dough that\u2019s specifically crafted for what he\u2019s doing.\u201d<\/p>\n

This, in addition to more than 20 local vendors and craftspeople, should make the vibes all good.<\/p>\n

Vendors on the food side include Cookie Whaaaat! and La Macarena Bakery.<\/p>\n

Over in Audubon Park, same date, same time, Mellow Market<\/a> will be holding things down on the corner of East Winter Park Road and Corrine Drive, steps from Stardust Coffee & Film, and nearby strongholds like East End Market, The Salty and the exemplary Coro restaurant.<\/p>\n
