Estate homes directly on Lake Nona rarely hit the market, and one that\u2019s being offered complete with its designer furnishings and art? This is a first.<\/p>\n

And priced at just under $9.5 million, it could be the most expensive home ever sold in the community, according to a report in GrowthSpotter.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cEverything\u2019s ready to go, it\u2019s being sold furnished,\u201d said listing agent Albin Hubscher with Central Florida Prime Real Estate about an 8,527-square-foot home on Lake Nona Shore Drive<\/a> in the Lake Nona Golf & Country Club.<\/p>\n

It was completed in 2024 and has been sparingly lived in since then.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was originally a vacation home,\u201d he told GrowthSpotter. \u201c[The owners] were going to use this eventually as a full-time residence, but the owner got a new position out in Colorado.\u201d<\/p>\n

Public records show the seller is a trust with Michael and Mary Osanloo as the trustees. Michael Osanloo is the former CEO of Portillo\u2019s<\/a>, a Chicago-based hot dog and Italian beef restaurant which opened its first Orlando location<\/a> in 2021.<\/p>\n

He left the Portillo\u2019s CEO job in September 2025 and was just named the CEO<\/a> of Colorado-based VASA Fitness.<\/p>\n

The couple also recently sold a home<\/a> in the Chicago suburb of Hinsdale for $7.15 million. That home was built in 2021 and has six bedrooms and nine bathrooms.<\/p>\n

The Lake Nona home was originally going to be a spec home for builder DeVoe Custom Homes.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe client who owns it came about a few months after the original home design was started and during the process, they did make some changes and some additions,\u201d Hubscher explained. \u201cThey definitely put their own stamp on it and made it their own.\u201d<\/p>\n

The owners also brought in Chicago-based Jorje Design to do the interior from top to bottom including furniture, lighting, wallpaper, etc.<\/p>\n

\u201cEvery person who walks in the door is impressed. The attention to detail, the quality,\u201d he said. \u201cI mean, it\u2019s got everything as it should for almost a $10 million home.\u201d<\/p>\n

There are six bedrooms, including two primary suites, and seven full bathrooms.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt may seem like a huge house, but it feels really warm. It feels cozy, it doesn\u2019t feel overwhelmingly large,\u201d Hubscher said. \u201cEverything flows really well from the furniture to the layout. It\u2019s just a great home.\u201d<\/p>\n

A guest casita has a bedroom, bathroom, living space, and a kitchenette.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s like the perfect retreat, close enough to the house, but yet detached in its own world.\u201d<\/p>\n

Outside, the driveway is a unique mix of stone and turf, creating a design element for the front yard as well as connecting the five-car garage area to the home.<\/p>\n

But it\u2019s the backyard that Hubscher said gets a lot of attention with its lake view, summer kitchen, 75-foot lap pool, sun shelf area, spa, and more.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve heard this comment several times from people who have come to see the house. They say, \u2018I feel like I\u2019m at the Four Seasons.\u2019 It is really one of those pools that really takes your breath away,\u201d he said, adding that the separate lap area means people can be playing in the main pool and not disturb someone who really wants to swim.<\/p>\n

The large .72-acre lot in a cul-de-sac has 130 feet of shoreline on Lake Nona as well as a dock, boathouse, and lift.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou can\u2019t have any jet skis, which is actually quite nice for the sound because sometimes when you get lakes that allow jet skis, it\u2019s just non-stop,\u201d he said. \u201c[Lake Nona] is a pretty quiet lake in terms of the activity.\u201d<\/p>\n

Having a lot like this with a house of this size and age on the market in the neighborhood is a rare thing.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have new construction in the new phase hitting the market, but there\u2019s nothing that even comes remotely close [to this]. Everything there is off-lake, no real views, smaller lots, so this is a really unique offering,\u201d Hubscher said. \u201cIt\u2019s just one of those things that I don\u2019t know if there\u2019s going to be another one that\u2019s going to come up anytime soon.\u201d<\/p>\n

And even though this home is listed at almost $10 million, Hubscher calls it a bargain.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have seen comparable homes in Golden Oak and Isleworth, and I would say [they are] comparable in terms of quality and finish, but price points in those markets would be much higher, $14 to $16 million, so for this to be under $10 million with this type of quality, it\u2019s really pretty special.\u201d<\/p>\n
