{"id":234117,"date":"2026-04-16T11:28:09","date_gmt":"2026-04-16T11:28:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/234117\/"},"modified":"2026-04-16T11:28:09","modified_gmt":"2026-04-16T11:28:09","slug":"mother-of-rapper-kodak-blacks-child-arrested-on-drug-trafficking-charge-in-broward","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/234117\/","title":{"rendered":"Mother of rapper Kodak Black\u2019s child arrested on drug trafficking charge in Broward"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"text text--small text--normal text--primary\">Published:\u00a0April 16, 2026 at 7:10 AM<\/p>\n<p>A woman who shares a child with South Florida rapper Kodak Black was arrested this week by Fort Lauderdale police. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla.  \u2014 A woman who shares a child with South Florida rapper <a href=\"https:\/\/www.local10.com\/topic\/Kodak_Black\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.local10.com\/topic\/Kodak_Black\/\">Kodak Black<\/a> was arrested this week by Fort Lauderdale police.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Online jail records show Jammiah Catera Broomfield, 28, was booked into the Paul Rein Detention Facility Tuesday on multiple charges, including trafficking in methamphetamine, driving with a suspended or revoked license, resisting an officer without violence and probation violation. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Broomfield is a singer and songwriter herself.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">She was previously charged with grand theft and was out on bond, awaiting trial prior to her arrest Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Fort Lauderdale police say they tried pulling Broomfield over Tuesday, recognizing her car as one that had fled from detectives before.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">According to her arrest report, Broomfield drove erratically as she tried to evade police, eventually getting out of the car and running off.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">But detectives caught up with her and took her into custody.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">According to online jail records, Broomfield remains in custody as she has a hold out of Palm Beach County.<\/p>\n<p>\ud83c\udfe0 News From Your Neighborhood<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph b-article-body__copyright\">Copyright 2026 by WPLG Local10.com &#8211;
