St. Petersburg<\/a> Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred Wednesday night that left one person dead and another wounded.<\/p>\nWhat we know<\/p>\n
According to SPPD, the shooting happened shortly before midnight outside on the 800 block of 14th Avenue South in St. Pete.<\/p>\n
Officers responded to a duplex, where investigators determined that the two men were shot during a home invasion robbery with drug overtones.<\/p>\n
