The state\u2019s quarterly report on injuries at theme parks reveals 12 incidents spread over six theme parks and one water park in the first three months of 2026.<\/p>\n
The only attraction with multiple reports in the period was Universal Orlando\u2019s<\/a> Hogwarts Express,<\/a> the simulated train that connects two sides of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios theme parks.\u00a0 On Jan. 23, a 34-year-old woman had a seizure at the ride. On Feb. 28, a 58-year-old male had chest pressure there and then nine days later, a 66-year-old female also experience chest pressure at Hogwarts Express. The latter two had pre-existing conditions, the report says.<\/p>\n That attraction had more reports than all of Universal\u2019s roller coasters combined for the quarter. On Feb. 4, a 61-year-old man reported stroke symptoms after Jurassic World VelociCoaster<\/a> at Isands of Adventure, and a 39-year-old man also have stroke symptoms on Feb. 24 after riding Donkey Kong Mine Cart<\/a> Madness, a coaster at Epic Universe.<\/p>\n Other Universal Orlando incidents included at 58-year-old woman with stroke symptoms after Race Through New York Starring Jimmy Fallon<\/a> at Universal Studios on Feb. 4, a 7-year-old girl with leg sweeling at Tot Tiki Reef splash area at Volcano Bay water park on Feb. 14, and a 60-year-old male who fainted after Fast & Furious \u2014 Supercharged<\/a>, a motion simulator at Universal Studios, on March 19.<\/p>\n Florida\u2019s major theme parks self-report about visitors who are injured on their rides and require at least 24 hours of hospitalization. The totals are published quarterly through an agreement with the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services<\/a>. The state does not receive updates after the initial assessments.<\/p>\n Disney: Opening day, songs for Muppets roller coaster set<\/a><\/p>\n For the first quarter of 2026, SeaWorld Orlando<\/a> had two reports, both involving roller coasters. On Jan. 20, a 42-year-old woman reported nause and vomiting after riding Manta<\/a>, and a 50-year-old woman said she was dizzy and lightheaded after being on Pipeline: The Surf Coaster<\/a>.<\/p>\n At Walt Disney World<\/a>, a 65-year-old woman fell while exiting Magic Kingdom\u2019s Prince Charming Regal Carrousel<\/a> on Feb. 2. Her pelvis was injured, the state report says.\u00a0 And on Feb. 17, a 40-year-old female injured her shoulder while on Kali River Rapids<\/a>, a water ride at Disney\u2019s Animal Kingdom.<\/p>\n No injury reports were generated from Legoland Florida, Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, Epcot or Disney\u2019s Hollywood Studios in the quarter.<\/p>\n SeaWorld updating Expedition Odyssey, Arctic attraction that opened last year<\/a><\/p>\n
