ST. PETERSBURG, FL \u2014 Two people were arrested in connection with the death of a 1-month-old boy in their care, St. Petersburg police said in a news release.<\/p>\n
Gabriella Daniels, 22, and Ashton Kurant, 21, were charged with aggravated child abuse and child neglect for injuries the boy suffered, investigators said. <\/p>\n
The infant was brought to a local hospital on Thursday for medical treatment. He later died at the hospital.<\/p>\n
The boy was found to have bruises along his hairline and multiple lacerations throughout his body, police said. <\/p>\n
The investigation is ongoing. Because of the confidential nature of the case, no information identifying the child will be released. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"ST.
