When crews arrived shortly after 7 p.m., the blaze quickly grew in intensity, spreading across the middle portion of the park.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>  <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/vlcsnap-2026-04-17-21h56m09s752.jpg\" alt=\"\" loading=\"lazy\" fetchpriority=\"auto\" data-v-2fe2fe3e=\"\"\/>  <\/p>\n<p data-v-871f4c88=\"\">Crews had to call for additional resources to put out the fire and began to protect the pavilions that were threatened.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p original-article-post=\"\" origination_station=\"WTVT\" data-v-ec26887a=\"\" data-v-871f4c88=\"\">Dig deeper:<\/p>\n<p data-v-871f4c88=\"\">Fire crews had to evacuate the park and then block off the entrance so no one could get inside.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p data-v-871f4c88=\"\">Homes nearby were not threatened.
