GAINESVILLE, Fla. \u2013 Mississippi State track and field concluded day one of the Tom Jones Memorial, hosted by Florida, and day two of the Wake Forest Invitational, hosted by Wake Forest.<\/p>\n
Action in Florida began in the men’s hammer throw, with Caleb Kaplan<\/a> moving to No. 2 in program history in the event with a new personal best 61.38m.<\/p>\n Khalil Antoine<\/a> set a personal best in the high jump at 2.15m, finishing second overall in the invitational section.<\/p>\n Roury McCloyen<\/a> capped off the day in the field events, taking the win in the men’s invitational section. The junior earned an outdoor personal best of 19.61m in the event, extending his No. 2 spot on the MSU all-time list. His throw ranks top-10 in the NCAA and top-5 in the SEC.<\/p>\n In Winston-Salem. The Bulldogs had a short day of competition. Hunter Anderson<\/a> competed in her second 1500m race of the season.
