<\/a><\/p>\nOn our last visit, we noticed that the lights embedded in the pavement around Astronomica and the Constellation Carousel were not only not illuminated, but also completely covered with metal caps.<\/p>\n
Tom remarked in his recent Epic Universe vlog<\/a> that it appears that Universal \u201chas just given up\u201d on attempting to fix the ground lighting effects, comparing it to EPCOT\u2019s ongoing struggles with the same problem.<\/p>\n Theme park photographer bioreconstruct<\/a> also posted a photo on April 17 showing the metal caps over the lights still intact, verifying that this is most likely a permanent installation:<\/p>\n Much of the pavement lighting in Constellation Plaza has been removed and capped. \u2014 bioreconstruct (@bioreconstruct) April 18, 2026<\/a> Similar issues with light-up pavement<\/a> have been persistent in EPCOT\u2019s World Celebration Gardens<\/a> since the area opened in December 2023.
