Brittany Lincicome Still Driving the Game Forward \u2014 On and Off the Course <\/p>\n

There are players who leave a mark on the game with trophies. And then
there are players like Brittany Lincicome \u2014 better known to golf fans as
\u201cBam Bam\u201d \u2014 who leave a lasting impact both inside the ropes and far
beyond them.<\/p>\n

I had the chance to catch up with the LPGA star on my radio show Let\u2019s Go Low, presented by GolfersUnite.com, and what stood out wasn\u2019t just her incredible resume \u2014 it was her perspective on the game, her journey, and her passion for growing golf for the next generation.<\/p>\n

From humble beginnings in St. Petersburg to major champion, and now into a new chapter of giving back, Lincicome\u2019s story is one that continues to evolve.<\/p>\n

From Backyard Golf to LPGA Stardom<\/p>\n

Like many great players, Lincicome\u2019s journey started young \u2014 but not exactly in a straight line. She was playing baseball with the boys until
around age 12 before making the decision that would change her life. Her father, a scratch golfer, helped guide that transition \u2014 and it
didn\u2019t come easy. Golf isn\u2019t cheap, and Lincicome made it clear her family had to be strategic. They stuck to local junior tournaments, often within driving distance, and even made the decision for her to homeschool to fully commit to the game.<\/p>\n

That sacrifice paid off.<\/p>\n

She turned professional on her first attempt at qualifying \u2014 a rare feat \u2014 and quickly learned what life on tour really meant.<\/p>\n

\u201cBam Bam\u201d and Breakthrough Moments<\/p>\n

If you know Brittany Lincicome, you know the nickname. \u201cBam Bam\u201d isn\u2019t just catchy \u2014 it fits. Between her power off the tee and her energetic personality, the name stuck. And it didn\u2019t take long for her game to match the hype.<\/p>\n

One of her most meaningful moments came early \u2014 her first LPGA Tour victory in just her second year.<\/p>\n

Major Championships and Clutch Performances<\/p>\n

Lincicome is a two-time major champion, winning both the Kraft Nabisco Championship and ANA Inspiration \u2014 and both victories came down to clutch shots under immense pressure.<\/p>\n

A New Chapter: Family, Balance, and Giving Back<\/p>\n

These days, Lincicome describes herself as \u201csemi-retired.\u201d She\u2019s scaling back her schedule but remains deeply connected to the
game. This week she is traveling to Houston to compete in The Chevron Championship<\/a>. While she is very competitive she understands that part of her role is to help grow the game and prepare for the LPGA Senior Tour which she is eligible for in a few short years!<\/p>\n

Lincicome is also giving back to the community as a director of The First Tee \u2013 St. Petersburg chapter<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Growing the Game \u2014 Especially for Women<\/p>\n

Lincicome is deeply involved with the First Tee of St.\u00a0Petersburg, helping run events and raise money to make golf more accessible for
kids. She also sees a major gap for adult women in golf and is advocating for growth in that space.<\/p>\n

Still Swinging, Still Leading<\/p>\n

Brittany Lincicome may be easing into a new phase of her career, but her influence is only growing.<\/p>\n
