New release reflects Loui\u2019s personal experiences and societal observations of the current world<\/p>\n

Loui Daniels\u00a0was born for this. His life experiences performing, writing, and releasing music, coupled with a challenging period through the COVID-19 era and the loss of mentor and musical giant\u00a0John Tovar, have led to the creation and release of his first full-length titled\u00a0Genesis<\/a>.\u00a0Daniels is celebrating his creation with a special release party and performance at\u00a0Bar Nancy<\/a>\u00a0(2007 SW 8th Street, Miami, FL 33127<\/a>) on Friday, November 28, 2025, beginning at 8 p.m. 21 and over welcome.<\/p>\n

He was born\u00a0Luis Daniel Ibarra\u00a0on November 20, 1996 to Cuban parents. His love for music started\u00a0around the same time he took acting lessons and started to pursue theatre at a very early age. He participated in all the school plays and became a product in various theatre companies such as\u00a0Miami Children\u2019s Theater,\u00a0Area Stage, and\u00a0Fantasy Theatre Factory.<\/p>\n

Also from an early age he was classically trained for 10 years under vocal coach\u00a0Pamela Sherwood. Under her supervision he competed in various competitions around the US and won many awards. As a junior in high school he placed 4th in a competition at one of the world\u2019s largest music associations\u00a0NATS\u00a0(National Association of Teachers of Singing), which took place in 2014 at Boston, MA.<\/p>\n

He graduated from\u00a0Archbishop Coleman F.\u00a0Carroll High School\u00a0in 2015 and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from\u00a0Florida International University\u00a0in 2019.\u00a0During the COVID-19 pandemic, Loui was struggling to find acting gigs since everything had closed down, but soon rediscovered his passion for music by simply writing one song about what he thought his future would bring.<\/p>\n

It led him to write even more songs, and he eventually began participating in open mic performances starting in late 2021, when businesses started opening again. Loui was soon picked up by close friend\u00a0Ryan Bauta\u00a0and introduced to artist manager\u00a0John Tovar, who significantly influenced Daniels\u2019 career until his passing in May of 2023. Tovar was known for helping to break national acts such as\u00a0Marylin Manson,\u00a0The Mavericks,\u00a0The Goods, and\u00a0Nuclear Valdez.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen he passed away I was devastated,\u201d says Daniels. \u201cLosing someone like John was like losing a family member. He was like a musical father I had around telling me what to do and not do while introducing me to all these great bands I\u2019ve never heard of. I will always appreciate his guidance and pushing me to reach for the stars.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was able to find my true identity in music all thanks to him. I also learned so much about the music business and how it works. Without John I wouldn\u2019t be where I am today.\u201d Daniels was chosen to play at the\u00a0Cutting Edge Music Conference\u00a0at New Orleans at the behest of Tovar, where he has become a regular.<\/p>\n

Since then, Loui has released eight singles on\u00a0The Orchard Sony\u00a0via\u00a0Javi Productions Group, and performed in various places such as the\u00a0House of Blues\u00a0in New Orleans,\u00a0The Springboard Conference\u00a0in Houston, and many other showcases throughout the U.S., including a headlining performance at\u00a0The Berlin\u00a0in New York City on July 17.<\/p>\n

Genesis, produced by\u00a0Miguel Gonzalez\u00a0(Purple Studio Productions), reflects Loui\u2019s personal experiences and societal observations in recent memory. Featuring the single and video \u201cHide & Seek<\/a>\u201c, the album includes 11 original total tracks and a cover of\u00a0Peter Gabriel\u2019s \u201cSolsbury Hill<\/a>\u201c.<\/p>\n

Ferny Coipel\u00a0(The Shack North), who has worked with various artists from\u00a0Y&T Records,\u00a0also contributed to the production. The album not only details some of Daniels\u2019 upbringing and life but also highlights some of the flaws that he sees happening within society. Says Loui: \u201cThis is my beginning.\u201d The album is dedicated to the memory of Tovar.<\/p>\n

Daniels continues to build his presence in the music industry with support from\u00a0Jessica Alvarez<\/a>\u00a0and the\u00a0Sync\u00a0Musica\u00a0team, his band featuring\u00a0Avery\u00a0Linderman\u00a0(lead guitar),\u00a0Oscar Dorta\u00a0(drums), and producer Gonzalez (bass), and ongoing performances across the U.S. Stream the new album by clicking\u00a0here<\/a>.<\/p>\n
