YEAH, BUT YOU’LL LEARN SOMETHING. SO IT’S GOOD. LISTEN, THIS MORNING IT’S LOVELY TEMPERATURES. WE WERE IN THE 40S IN OCALA THIS MORNING. OKAY. THAT’S GREAT. UNTIL YOU RECOGNIZE THAT THIS PLAYS INTO A FIRE THREAT FOR TODAY. NOW WATCH THE HUMIDITY PERCENTAGES THROUGH THE AFTERNOON. THEY DROP DROP, DROP. AND BECAUSE THEY GET INTO THE 20 AND 30% RANGE, WE HAVE THAT VERY HIGH. AND AS A MATTER OF FACT, WE’LL CALL IT SIGNIFICANT FIRE DANGER RISK. NOW THE GOOD NEWS IS IT GETS BACK TO NORMAL FOR OUR WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY, FRIDAY. I MEAN, WE HAVE TO STILL BE COGNIZANT OF THIS. BUT TODAY THE ATMOSPHERE IS REALLY SUPPORTING, WHICH IS WHY WE’RE CALLING TODAY IMPACT WEATHER BECAUSE OF THE DRY AIR AND THE GUSTY WINDS. AND THUS WE HAVE RED FLAG WARNINGS IN EFFECT FOR NEARLY ALL OF CENTRAL FLORIDA. JUST TO GIVE YOU AN IDEA, WHEN SO FAR HAVE BEEN BREEZY ENOUGH THAT WE’VE SEEN GUSTS NEARLY 20 MILES AN HOUR FOR MOST SPOTS DOWN YEEHAW JUNCTION, WE’VE SEEN UPWARDS OF 30, BUT THAT’S THE SETUP FOR TODAY. THE DRY AIR AND THE GUSTY WINDS. NOW, LOOKING AT FUTURECAST HIGH PRESSURE KEEPING US DRY. BUT AS IT BUILDS IN THE NEXT FEW DAYS, GETS CLOSER AND CLOSER TO US. THE OVERALL WIND WILL BEGIN TO CALM DOWN. AND THEN LATE WEEK, AS IT’S KIND OF PARKED OFF OF OUR EAST COAST, WE START TO GET MORE OF A SOUTHERLY WIND DIRECTION. AND THAT’S GOING TO HELP TO START WARMING THE TEMPERATURES UP. SO FOR TODAY, WE’RE LOVING LIFE. LOWER 80S. SAME IDEA FOR YOUR WEDNESDAY THURSDAY. BUT THEN WE TURN THE WINDS AROUND AND JUST LIKE WE TURN THE BEAT AROUND, WE BRING UP THE TEMPERATURES. WE BRING UP THE HEAT MID 80S BY FRIDAY, SATURDAY ALREADY NEARLY 90 DEGREES OUTSIDE THIS MORNING. I HAVE TO PICK ON YOU, CARLA, BECAUSE THAT’S BRISK BABY. IT FEELS GREAT TEMPERATURE NOW COMING BACK UP TO 50 DEGREES. YOU’RE AT 40, 48, 49 JUST IN THE LAST HOUR. THAT’S AWESOME. 60 IN ORLANDO, 61 IN WEDGEFIELD, 62 IN SAINT CLOUD. WE’RE IN THE LOWER 70S IN BREVARD. BUT LOOK AT THE DIFFERENCE. 53 HERE IN DAYTONA BEACH AND 51 OUTSIDE IN PALM COAST. SO THERE’S TONS OF SUNSHINE. IT’S A GORGEOUS DAY. WE’VE GOT THAT IMPACT WEATHER NOTED BECAUSE OF THE FIRE THREAT IN TERMS OF TEMPERATURES 78 FOR LUNCHTIME, 81 DEGREES, OUR 3:00 HIGH TEMPERATURE. IF YOU’RE HEADING TO THE AREA WATERWAYS, I WOULD ADD WE STILL HAVE THE GUSTY WINDS, WHICH MEANS THERE’S THAT HIGH RISK OF RIP CURRENTS. SURF BREAKING 3 TO 5FT AND SEAS FOR THE BOATERS RUNNING 4 TO 6FT. SO FOR TODAY, FOR TOMORROW, THE BIG WEATHER STORY OF COURSE IS GOING TO BE THE WIND GUSTS, HIGH TEMPERATURES IN THE LOWER RANGE OF THE 80S. A FEW SHOWERS STARTING UP AROUND THURSDAY. THAT WILL CONTINUE INTO THE WEEKEND. BUT THE BIG STORY IS GOING TO BE FRIDAY, SATURDAY, SUNDAY, THOSE TEMPERATURES CLIMBING, GETTING CLOSE TO 90.

Red flag warnings have been issued for the area today, citing a high threat of wildfires due to gusty winds and dry air.
