Last week, the City of Doral celebrated two unforgettable events, the Mayor & Chief\u2019s Golf Tournament 2025 and the Inaugural Mayor & Chief\u2019s Gala 2025, uniting community leaders, first responders, and local partners in support of programs that empower Doral\u2019s youth and strengthen its families.<\/p>\n
Hosted by Mayor Christi Fraga and Doral Police Chief Edwin Lopez, these signature events embodied the spirit of collaboration and service that defines Doral. Together, they raised funds for Police and Parks 4 Kids (PP4K), a local nonprofit dedicated to providing mentorship, educational opportunities, and recreational resources to children in need.<\/p>\n

The week began on Wednesday, October 22, with the Mayor & Chief\u2019s Golf Tournament at Trump National Doral Miami, where participants teed off in a friendly yet impactful competition. The event featured a Presentation of Colors by the Doral Police Honor Guard, remarks by Mayor Fraga and Chief Lopez, and a spirited morning of play among city officials, local businesses, and supporters. The day concluded with an awards luncheon and networking reception, celebrating both the winners on the course and the greater purpose behind the event.<\/p>\n
On Friday, October 24, the celebration culminated with the Mayor & Chief\u2019s Inaugural Gala, also held at Trump National Doral Miami. Guests arrived for a red-carpet evening celebrating unity, philanthropy, and community leadership. The gala featured live entertainment, engaging program activities, and remarks from Mayor Fraga and Chief Lopez, highlighting the organization\u2019s impact and vision for Doral\u2019s youth.<\/p>\n
