ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. \u2013 The man accused of attacking a Good Samaritan<\/a> on a Central Florida expressway is facing an additional criminal charge \u2014 this time after Orange County deputies said he jumped on a woman\u2019s car just minutes before the roadside assault.<\/p>\n

Daniel Coman, 44, was re-arrested at the Orange County Jail on a new charge of felony criminal mischief stemming from a March 30 incident near Avalon Road and Hartzog Road in Orange County. <\/p>\n

Coman has remained in custody since his original arrest and has never bonded out.<\/p>\n

According to an arrest affidavit, a woman was driving north on Avalon Road when she saw a white male arguing with someone on the roadway. <\/p>\n

When she honked, the man jumped onto the hood of her gray 2021 Toyota Corolla and began banging on her windshield, causing an estimated $3,200 in damage, the affidavit states. <\/p>\n

Investigators linked Coman to the incident after noting the scene was less than 4 miles from where he was arrested on the 429 Expressway<\/a> about 20 minutes later.<\/p>\n

Coman already faces charges of battery on a law enforcement officer, resisting an officer with violence, assault on a law enforcement officer, battery, and criminal mischief in connection with the expressway attack on Good Samaritan Hans Hamilton<\/a>, who suffered a brain bleed and four broken ribs.<\/p>\n
