2027 blue-chip defensive back Jailen Hill is one of the top prospects in the state of California. The 6-foot-3, 160-pounder has narrowed his choices down to five schools.<\/p>\n

Those programs are the Nebraska Cornhuskers<\/a>, Washington Huskies<\/a>, Tennessee Volunteers, Ole Miss<\/a> Rebels, and Florida State Seminoles<\/a>, per Greg Buggins of Rivals<\/a>. Also, he’s set his commitment date for June 9.<\/p>\n

FSU extended an offer to Hill in July of 2025. However, he still hasn’t taken a trip to see the Seminoles yet. He talked about the official visits he has had within his top five schools and getting a chance to visit the ones he hasn’t.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have Washington May 29 and Nebraska June 6,\u201d Hill said per Rivals<\/a>. \u201cI\u2019m working on setting the others and looking forward seeing them because I haven\u2019t been able to get to Tennessee, Florida State or Ole Miss yet, not even unofficially.<\/p>\n

\u201cI do like all three though and they have all let me know that I\u2019m a priority for them. I like their scheme and think I would fit in really well. I like how they play and their style of defense just fits me so that\u2019s how they made the list.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hill was a productive player as a junior at St. John Bosco High School. He registered 11 tackles, six interceptions, and three pass breakups in 10 games.<\/p>\n

Rivals’ industry rankings list Hill as the No. 244 overall player and the No. 27 cornerback in the nation. He’s also the No. 25 prospect in California.<\/p>\n
