If you\u2019ve ever rented an Airbnb and found yourself waiting hours for a check-in code or a response to a simple question, you\u2019ve felt one of the hospitality industry\u2019s biggest pain points. For property managers juggling hundreds of listings, those missed moments add up fast. That\u2019s the problem Boom<\/a> wants to erase, with a little help from artificial intelligence (of course).<\/p>\n

The Miami-based startup just raised $12.7 million to expand what it calls an \u201cAI-powered property management system.\u201d The round was led by Avenue Growth Partners, joined by a mix of industry veterans including former Hilton International CEO Ian Carter, Goldman Properties CEO Scott Srebnick, and Siemplify co-founder Garry Fatakhov \u2013\u00a0all of whom had previously backed Boom as private investors.<\/p>\n

Founded in 2023 by entrepreneur Shahar Goldboim, Boom is betting that agentic AI will become the backbone of modern hospitality. The company\u2019s platform uses AI to automate workflows and take on more dynamic, context-driven tasks like communicating with guests, dispatching maintenance, and managing schedules in real time.<\/p>\n

Goldboim said the company\u2019s mission is simple: to make property management feel lighter and more human. \u201cOur mission is to take the heavy lifting out of property management so operators can deliver better guest experiences and build stronger businesses,\u201d he said in a statement.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cOur agentic AI modules are already driving results today, and this raise will help us scale that impact\u00a0\u2013\u00a0improving guest satisfaction, increasing profitability for managers and giving them a better work-life balance,\u201d he continued.<\/p>\n

That message seems to be resonating. Boom says its system is already being used by hospitality businesses in 20 countries. For many operators, the appeal is part convenience, part staying competitive as guest expectations rise and staffing shortages linger.<\/p>\n

Brian Goldsmith, co-founder and partner at Avenue Growth Partners, said his firm saw something unique in Boom\u2019s approach.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cBoom is creating a genuinely new category with its AI-first approach to hospitality operations,\u201d Goldsmith asserted. \u201cThe team has already proven their platform can deliver immediate value, and their vision for agentic AI takes that potential even further.\u201d<\/p>\n

For Goldboim, the milestone was personal as much as professional. In a LinkedIn post following the announcement, he wrote, \u201cThis moment is one of the biggest in my life \u2014 in my family\u2019s life, in our team\u2019s life, and in Boom\u2019s journey. What a road it\u2019s been. Years of hard work, belief, sleepless nights, and relationships built on trust and shared vision \u2014 all leading to this incredible moment.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

He went on to share that Boom was born out of his brother Alon\u2019s \u201cpain turned into purpose\u201d after losing his wife Reut, adding that \u201chis strength inspired all of us to keep building, keep believing, and keep pushing forward \u2014 no matter what.\u201d<\/p>\n

With fresh capital in hand, Boom plans to scale internationally and strengthen its go-to-market strategy. The company is also hiring aggressively across engineering, data science, and customer success as it prepares for broader rollout.<\/p>\n

For guests, Boom\u2019s success might mean fewer waiting hours and more seamless experiences. For operators, maybe, finally, some time off.<\/p>\n
