The Keene\u2019s Point home<\/a> sold for $2.948 million, just under the list price of $2,987,500. The speed of the sale somewhat surprised Pozek.<\/p>\n \u201cIn that price point, there\u2019s a lot of inventory right now. But when you look at the inventory, there wasn\u2019t much that had the views and some of the things this home had.\u201d<\/p>\n The house was built in 2003 but has had several updates since, which set it apart from others on the market.<\/p>\n \u201cSince the first owner owned it and built it custom at the time, everything has been changed, kitchen, floors, bathrooms, lighting, windows, pool,\u201d Pozek told GrowthSpotter, adding owners have also updated systems like the HVAC and replaced the roof. \u201cIn Windermere, a lot of stuff built in the 2000s needs a lot of the things that this house [already] had.\u201d<\/p>\n The pool used to be a small one tucked under part of the lanai, but it\u2019s now much larger with amenities.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s great. It had the sunshelf. It had the hot tub and a lap pool for anybody that wants to do that,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n At 5,845 square feet, the home is big but does not feel cavernous.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s definitely a spacious home where every room was a really good size, and yet it wasn\u2019t so open concept that you felt like you had no privacy,\u201d Pozek explained. \u201cIt was just really well-sectioned off right where I needed to be.\u201d<\/p>\n With a gym, chef\u2019s kitchen, and more, the house has everything.<\/p>\n \u201cOne of the things I thought of when I first saw it was that it just had something for everybody, depending on what you\u2019re looking for,\u201d he said, \u201cIt was just a really great overall, whatever you\u2019re into, you had something there for you.\u201d<\/p>\n Two of the five bedrooms are main-floor suites with the primary and two other bedrooms on the second floor.<\/p>\n \u201c[The primary] had access to the second-floor decking so you could go out and enjoy the views at night, which is great,\u201d Pozek explained. \u201cYou had a walk-in shower, soaker tub, and a living room inside of the primary as well. It was a massive suite.\u201d<\/p>\n It was the proximity to Lake Burden that Pozek said sold the house.<\/p>\n \u201cIt was lake view, but not on the lake \u2014 so you had this gorgeous view that usually somebody would pay $5, $6, $7 million for, but you\u2019re actually golf course frontage with lake view behind it,\u201d Pozek explained. \u201cI think there are less than 10 houses in the entire neighborhood of 1,100 that have that kind of view, so it was a really special house.\u201d<\/p>\n Being able to see the sunset but not being able to have a boat kept the price down.<\/p>\n \u201cThis same house, 100 feet towards the lake, sitting on the lake, would have been another $1.5 to $2 million more.\u201d<\/p>\n The views are what Pozek said the sellers are reluctant to leave.<\/p>\n \u201cThis house had the most picturesque backyard,\u201d he said. \u201cThat\u2019s the thing they\u2019re going to miss the most is having dinner with the family and looking out over the lake as the sun sets.\u201d<\/p>\n Public records show the sellers are George and Paige Couros, and the buyers are Sean and Ellen Fitzpatrick.<\/p>\n \u201cThese are out-of-town buyers moving local, so they were looking for something special, and I think they found it.\u201d<\/p>\n Bent Danholm<\/a> with Maxim Realty Orlando<\/a> represented the buyers.<\/p>\n Have a tip about Central Florida development?
