Here\u2019s a county-by-county update of the current conditions from the larger blazes that have already forced some to evacuate.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 jsuuLb body-paragraph\">8:00 PM:<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 jsuuLb body-paragraph\">Due to active fire conditions and ongoing emergency response operations, multiple roadways are closed until further notice.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 jsuuLb body-paragraph\">Affected Areas:<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 jsuuLb body-paragraph\">Highway 82 from Nahunta to Post Road<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 jsuuLb body-paragraph\">Highway 110 West at Highway 32 down to the Camden County line <\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 jsuuLb body-paragraph\">Highway 259 from Highway 82 to the Camden County line<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 jsuuLb body-paragraph\">Highway 32 \u2013 from Highway 110 to Post Road- <\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 jsuuLb body-paragraph\">These closures are in place for public safety and to allow emergency crews to operate effectively.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 jsuuLb body-paragraph\">7:20 PM<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 jsuuLb body-paragraph\">Brantley County government urges residents to leave the following affected areas as a mandatory evacuation takes place:<\/p>\n<p>GA-110 (Yellow Pine Rd) to Thrower Rd Happy Hollow Drury Ln &amp; Drury Ct Coffee County Club Rd From Thrower Rd to Mossy Oak<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 jsuuLb body-paragraph\"> If you are in these areas, evacuate immediately.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 jsuuLb body-paragraph\">5:22 PM | All Brantley County Schools will be closed tomorrow for students and staff.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 jsuuLb body-paragraph\">Brantley County School System <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/BrantleyCountySchools\/posts\/pfbid02YYobhWDQnznZqdNNTNehYatGnAbVUh56uT8k4cbeyV78JYq5Ws75ff348o6tyXVvl\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/BrantleyCountySchools\/posts\/pfbid02YYobhWDQnznZqdNNTNehYatGnAbVUh56uT8k4cbeyV78JYq5Ws75ff348o6tyXVvl\">said on social media<\/a>, \u201cThis decision has been made to ensure the safety of our students, families, and employees, and to allow our Brantley County families time and space to navigate the impacts of the fire. We know that many in our community have been directly affected, including some who have experienced the loss of their homes.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 jsuuLb body-paragraph\">3:45 PM | Evacuation orders in Brantley County now also include: Warners Landing, Oaks Woodlands, Atkinson Road, Godberry Lane, Brushing Creek, Fort Mcintosh to Highway 520 on both sides of the road.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 jsuuLb body-paragraph\">Shelters open include Little Memorial Church, Hortense Church of God, Southside Baptist Methodist Church, and the library.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 jsuuLb body-paragraph\">Roads closed include: 82 W&amp;E Lanes, Browntown Road, Hawks Landing, Nahunta Red light to Glynn County, 259 &amp; 110E, Warners Landing, Atkinson Road, Godberry Lane, Brushing Creek, Ft. McIntosh to Highway 520 (Both Sides).<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 jsuuLb body-paragraph\">2 PM | A mandatory evacuation is in effect for Browntown Road and Hawks Landing in Brantley County. The Sheriff\u2019s Office said people should avoid Waynesville, Atkinson, and Lulaton. Waynesville Primary and Atkinson Elementary are being evacuated to the Brantley County Middle School Gym, BCSO said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 jsuuLb body-paragraph\">9 AM | The Bostwick Library in Putnam County is closed Tuesday due to smoke in the area. The Palatka Library is open today at 601 College Rd, Palatka.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 jsuuLb body-paragraph\">8 AM | West Tocoi Road and Eagle Creek, north of Bostwick, are closed due to low visibility, according to the Putnam County Sheriff\u2019s Office<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 jsuuLb body-paragraph\">8 AM | The U.S. Coast Guard issued a marine advisory for the St. Johns River due to zero visibility conditions on the water surrounding Bostwick and north into Clay. <\/p>\n<p>Northeast Florida<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 jsuuLb body-paragraph\">Florida Commissioner of Agriculture Wilton Simpson and Florida Forest Service leadership <a href=\"https:\/\/www.actionnewsjax.com\/news\/local\/watch-live-florida-forest-service-update-clay-county-wildfire\/7HO6PFQNCFBUXHLUTXRBVFPFCA\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.actionnewsjax.com\/news\/local\/watch-live-florida-forest-service-update-clay-county-wildfire\/7HO6PFQNCFBUXHLUTXRBVFPFCA\/\">did a news conference at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday in Green Cove Springs<\/a>. *Watch it as it streamed on the Action News Jax YouTube channel below<\/p>\n<p>Baker CountySargent Fire &#8211; 2,523 acres, 81% contained Bradford CountyClay\/Putnam countiesRailroad Fire &#8211; 4,112 acres, 50% contained<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 jsuuLb body-paragraph\">The following updates were shared by Clay County Fire Rescue just after 5 p.m. Tuesday:<\/p>\n<p>Decoy Road and Highway 17 are OPEN.Please avoid the area due to heavy smoke along the highway.There are no new voluntary evacuations at this time. As wildfire dangers continue to grow, fire officials do not recommend any outdoor burning. Donations are also being accepted at the Orange Park Town Hall.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 jsuuLb body-paragraph\">Items like water, sports drinks, snacks are being accepted.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 jsuuLb body-paragraph\">The county has opened a call center for any questions relating to the large fire.
