The Gators sit at No. 11 following midweek action and ahead of a three-game weekend series with the Texas A&M Aggies<\/a>.<\/p>\n With losses to Bethune-Cookman and Jacksonville, Florida has dropped to 9-3 in Quadrant 4 games. The bulk of Florida’s losses have come against Quadrant 1 opponents. Florida has a 12-8 record in such matchups and a 3-3 record against Quad 2 opponents. The Gators are undefeated (4-0) in Quad 3 games.<\/p>\n The Gators’ strength of schedule still ranks very high at No. 3 in the country. The non-conference strength of schedule is a bit lower, but No. 22 is still very respectable. It’s because of the tough schedule that Florida remains in line to host a regional, even with 14 losses on the year.<\/p>\n Only five SEC teams are ranked higher than Florida on the RPI: No. 3 Texas<\/a>, No. 5 Auburn<\/a>, No. 6 Alabama<\/a>, No. 8 Ole Miss and No. 9 Texas A&M. Three of those teams have defeated Florida in weekend series this season.
