{"id":243959,"date":"2026-04-23T23:19:08","date_gmt":"2026-04-23T23:19:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/243959\/"},"modified":"2026-04-23T23:19:08","modified_gmt":"2026-04-23T23:19:08","slug":"2-missing-usf-students-now-considered-endangered-as-search-expands","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/243959\/","title":{"rendered":"2 missing USF students now considered &#8216;endangered&#8217; as search expands"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>TAMPA, Fla. \u2014 The Hillsborough County Sheriff&#8217;s Office has upgraded the status of two University of South Florida (USF) students <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wtsp.com\/article\/news\/local\/hillsboroughcounty\/missing-usf-students\/67-2f894d86-2a78-41fa-ab52-2537d60c7b45\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">who disappeared a week ago.\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Detectives say recent information has come to light that has now led them to consider Nahida Bristy, 27, and Zamil Limon, 27 to be &#8220;endangered.&#8221; However, specific details in the investigation were not released.<\/p>\n<p>USF police said Zamil Limon and Nahida S. Bristy were last seen on April 16.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Limon is a doctoral student pursuing a degree in geography, environmental science and policy. He was last seen at his home on Avalon Heights Boulevard at around 9 a.m. that day.<\/p>\n<p>Bristy is a doctoral student studying chemical engineering.
