NAHUNTA, Ga. \u2014 Here\u2019s a county-by-county update and the latest information you should know as firefighters continue to battle fires in Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia:<\/p>\n

6:55 PM: The Georgia Emergency Management Agency said a mandatory evacuation is in effect for the area of Highway 110 from Highway 32 to Lane Cemetery Road to include from Lisa Lane to the Satilla River. <\/p>\n

GEMA said a voluntary evacuation has been issued for the area of U.S. 301 from the county line to Rowell Road to the west of Highway 110, north to Highway 32 and east of Highway 110 to the county line. People in this area need to be ready to leave if needed. <\/p>\n

4:37 PM: Brantley County Manager Joey Carson said that 87 homes have now been destroyed in the Highway 82 Fire.<\/p>\n

The Georgia Emergency Management Agency said a mandatory evacuation order has been issued for Highway 110 to the Satilla River between Coffee County Club Road and Drury Lane.<\/p>\n

3:01 PM: Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp will survey the damage from the Highway 82 Fire on Friday afternoon. He will be joined by Georgia State Forester and Georgia Forestry Commission (GFC) Director Johnny Sabo and other state and local officials.<\/p>\n

2:39 PM: The Brantley County Sheriff\u2019s Office shared an update on where people can go to donate supplies, and what supplies are needed, for families impacted by the Highway 82 Fire.<\/p>\n

10:15 AM: The Florida Forest Service reported Thursday morning that the Railroad Fire has grown to 4,406 acres and it\u2019s 60 percent contained.<\/p>\n

9 AM: During an update Thursday morning, Brantley County officials said the fire there has remained stable since about 2 a.m. and is positioned on the east side of the Browntown area.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhile this stability is encouraging, wind conditions remain unpredictable and could cause conditions to change rapidly,\u201d officials cautioned.<\/p>\n

The fire, at about 5,000 acres, is 15 percent contained and destroyed 54 homes.<\/p>\n

The Georgia Forestry Commission<\/a>said Wednesday that it has responded to 34 new wildfires burning 75 acres statewide.<\/p>\n

8:15 AM: Brantley County School System announced Thursday morning that they\u2019re closing schools again Friday due to ongoing fire conditions.<\/p>\n

6 AM: Firefighters are continuing to battle more than 130 wildfires in the state Thursday morning as fast-moving blazes in Georgia have destroyed homes forcing hundreds of evacuations.<\/p>\n

Florida Commissioner of Agriculture Wilton Simpson said Wednesday that this is the worst fire season in the state in nearly 40 years.<\/p>\n

Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp issued a state of emergency Wednesday for more than half of the state\u2019s counties as hundreds more were told to evacuate in Brantley County in addition to the nearly 1,000 previous evacuations. More than 50 homes have been destroyed there and county schools were closed again Thursday.<\/p>\n

Another large fire in Clinch County have forced evacuations there.<\/p>\n
