The Bucs were looking for firepower off the edge and found exactly what they were after in the first round. Bain is a special talent. He was a three-year starter for the Hurricanes and a pivotal part of their 2025 National Championship run. Last season, the junior earned All-American honors while being named the ACC&#8217;s Defensive Player of the Year. Strength is Bain&#8217;s calling card, overpowering tackles on his way to the quarterback.
