Gore St. will house Orlando Health\u2019s \u201cbariatric service lines including weight-loss surgery, endoscopic procedures, obesity medicine, revision and conversion procedures, robotic procedures and surgical body contouring.\u201d\n<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe new Orlando Health Weight Loss and Bariatric Surgery Institute represents our commitment to increasing access to compassionate, specialized care,\u201d said Cary D\u2019Ortona, president of Orlando Health Medical Group, in the release. \u201cThis state-of-the-art building embodies our mission to improve the health and well-being of the people we serve. We are excited to bring this vision to life for our patients in an environment of hope and healing.\u201d\n<\/p>\n<p>Also located at the institute will be psychiatry and nutrition programs, a demonstration kitchen, and group meeting spaces as well as an advanced training environment called the Bioskills Lab.\n<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis new Institute is so much more than a building,\u201d said Andre Teixeira, MD, bariatric surgeon and president of Orlando Health Weight Loss and\u00a0Bariatric Surgery Institute. \u201cBy providing surgery, medicine and research subspecialists all in one centralized location, we are committed to enhancing accessibility and convenience for our patients.
