(Tallahassee, FL) – Florida\u2019s legislative leaders have reached an agreement on an outline for a state budget for the next fiscal year.<\/p>\n
Now, state lawmakers will return to Tallahassee for a two-week special session beginning May 12th, to work out the details. <\/p>\n
DeSantis also called them back to Tallahassee next week, April 28th, to redraw the state\u2019s congressional map. <\/p>\n
The governor also wants them to pass AI regulations and to allow parents to opt their kids out of school immunization requirements…all issues lawmakers refused to pass during the regular session.<\/p>\n
