CAPE CORAL, Fla. (WINK)\u2014 Cape Coral Fire Department swimmers and divers searched Saratoga Lake after a resident reported an overturned paddleboat just before 4:45 p.m. yesterday.<\/p>\n

Firefighters entered the water and searched the area with a specialized sonar device called AquaEye, designed to locate victims in low-visibility water.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The Cape Coral Police Department deployed a drone to assist in searching the lake’s surface and shoreline.<\/p>\n

No one was found during the search.<\/p>\n
All Cape Coral firefighters are rescue swimmers, and 75 are divers who have advanced training and use equipment such as dry suits and full-face mask communication.\u00a0<\/p>\n
On average, the Cape Coral Fire Department responds to at least two dive calls a month.<\/p>\n
