Ludin, a renowned attorney and leader in the legal community, has joined Shumaker\u2019s St. Petersburg office\u00a0as Of Counsel.\u00a0In practice for over four decades, Eric\u2019s experience and insights\u00a0gained throughout his career\u00a0will\u00a0bolster the firm\u2019s\u00a0commercial real estate capabilities.<\/p>\n

Focusing his practice\u00a0on commercial landlord-tenant disputes, Eric handles eviction matters and claims for damages, helping resolve\u00a0these issues\u00a0promptly and efficiently\u00a0to ensure his clients canaccomplish\u00a0their goal of making their real estate productive with minimal business interruption.<\/p>\n

A Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Mediator,\u00a0Eric\u00a0is\u00a0frequently\u00a0retained\u00a0by other attorneys to resolve their clients\u2019 disputes through the mediation process.\u00a0He also drafts commercial leases and related lease documents, including amendments and assignments.<\/p>\n

Eric is a pillar of the\u00a0St. Petersburg legal community.\u00a0Active in the local bar, he helped found the St. Petersburg Bar Foundation, served as its\u00a0President for four terms, and has served on the\u00a0planning committee for its annual professionalism\u00a0seminar for the past 12 years.\u00a0His\u00a0history of legal leadership also includes serving as the President of the St. Petersburg Bar Association\u00a0and\u00a0the Chair of the\u00a06th Judicial Grievance Committee of the Florida Bar.<\/p>\n

In the community, Eric is a current board member of Menorah Life and previously served as its Chair\u00a0and\u00a0helped found\u00a0the Tampa Bay Chapter of the Crohn\u2019s and Colitis\u00a0Foundation and served\u00a0several terms\u00a0as its President. He has also held\u00a0leadership positions with Congregation B\u2019nai Israel and the Annual Campaign on the Pinellas County Jewish Foundation.<\/p>\n
