The fourth generation, family-run business was started in 1921 by Albert Hugo and his wife, Euna. Albert Hugo was a skilled decorator and craftsman in his home country of Germany before moving to the United States.<\/p>\n
The couple originally set up their business in the dock house of Arthur and Ninah Cummer\u2019s English Revival mansion on Riverside Avenue before relocating to Phillips Highway in 1947. Hugo\u2019s Interiors became a reputable business working with institutions like Barnett Bank, Florida\u2019s largest commercial bank for most of the 20th century, which led to Hugo\u2019s becoming sought after for high-end interior design.<\/p>\n
Today, Hugo\u2019s Interiors still resides on Phillips Highway and is run by the fourth generation of the Hugo family \u2014 looking forward to the fifth generation continuing their enduring legacy. Throughout the years, Hugo\u2019s has remained dedicated to authenticity and artistry while remaining relevant for its unique style and irreplaceable quality.<\/p>\n
Hugo\u2019s Interiors offers timeless and innovative designs crafted by their skilled artisans. Jon Shepard, director of marketing, spoke about Hugo\u2019s legacy and dedication.
