The body of one of two University of South Florida graduate students who mysteriously disappeared this week was found on a bridge in Tampa Friday \u2014 and his roommate was taken into custody, authorities said.<\/p>\n

The remains of Zamil Limon, 27, were found on the Howard Frankland Bridge Friday as the search continued for his girlfriend, Nahida Bristy, 27, law enforcement officials said at a press conference Friday.<\/a><\/p>\n

Limon\u2019s roommate, Hisham Saleh Abugharbeih, was hit with charges linked to Limon\u2019s death, including failure to report a death and unlawfully moving a body, according to Hillsborough County Sheriff Chad Chronister.<\/p>\n

Limon and Bristy, a couple from Bangladesh, were last seen in the area on April 16.<\/p>\n

SWAT teams armed with assault rifles descended on Limon\u2019s Lake Forest neighborhood \u2014\u00a0 just over a mile from USF\u2019s Tampa campus \u2014 around 10 a.m. Friday, WTSP reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The raid was tied to the alarming disappearance of the couple soon after officials declared they were deemed \u201cendangered,\u201d without elaborating.<\/p>\n

The situation was \u201cresolved\u201d about two hours later, the sheriff\u2019s office said,<\/a> with Abugharbeih taken into custody.<\/p>\n

He was also hit with preliminary charges of domestic violence, battery, and\u00a0 false imprisonment, and tampering with evidence,\u00a0 according to Chronister.<\/p>\n

Limon, a doctoral student pursuing a degree in geography, environmental science and policy, was last seen at 9 a.m. at his Tampa student apartment complex, police said.<\/p>\n

Abugharbeih has been hit with multiple charges associated with Limon\u2019s death. Hillsborough County Sheriff\u00e2s Office<\/p>\n

Bristy, who was studying chemical engineering, vanished about an hour later. She was last seen at the Natural and Environmental Sciences Building on the university\u2019s campus, according to cops.<\/p>\n

They were reported missing by a friend who said they were unable to get in touch with the pair. Both of their phones had been turned off, investigators said.<\/p>\n
