(<a href=\"https:\/\/www.mysuncoast.com\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.mysuncoast.com\/\">WWSB<\/a>) &#8211; A woman in Lutz has been arrested and charged with illegally disposing of the body of a relative in 2025, the Hillsborough County Sheriff\u2019s Office said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The decomposing body of 78-year-old Jacquelyn Cirone was found in a wooded area in Lutz on Aug. 8, 2025. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The remains were initially unidentified, and detectives worked with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement using federal funding to analyze DNA to identify Cirone.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Detectives also determined that a family member caring for Cirone disposed of her remains in the woods after her death.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mysuncoast.com\/2025\/11\/07\/cape-coral-man-charged-with-felony-littering-after-dumping-human-ashes\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.mysuncoast.com\/2025\/11\/07\/cape-coral-man-charged-with-felony-littering-after-dumping-human-ashes\/\">Cape Coral man charged with felony littering after dumping human ashes<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Rebecca Vaughn, 64, has been charged with:<\/p>\n<p>Unlawfully hold or move a dead human body in unapproved conditionsFailure to report death to Medical Examiner or Law EnforcementTampering with physical evidence<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"figure-img img-fluid mx-auto d-block\" alt=\"Rebecca Vaughn\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/U4WNWGNVKVH47L3FHOL4SJLKX4.jpg\" width=\"980\" height=\"490\" \/>Rebecca Vaughn(Hillsborough County Sheriff&#8217;s Office)<\/p>\n<p>Copyright 2026 WWSB.
