Texas A&M baseball<\/a>\u2019s usually powerful offense struggled Friday, falling to Florida 9-2.<\/p>\n

After first baseman Gavin Grahovac blasted a two-run home run in the third inning, the No. 7 Aggies (30-8, 11-6 SEC) went hitless for the next five innings. They finished with just five hits, stranding three, in their first SEC loss since April 2.<\/p>\n

The No. 21\u00a0Gators (29-14, 11-8) scored one run in the first, added two more in the third, and added a pair of insurance runs in the sixth and seventh innings before adding four more in the eighth. They finished with 13 hits on the night.<\/p>\n

A&M\u2019s starting pitcher, Shane Sdao, had a shaky outing. The left-hander lasted 3\u2154 innings, allowing three runs and eight hits. He struck out four and walked none on 74 pitches.<\/p>\n

Gators\u2019 starting pitcher Aidan King was masterful. The righty went eight innings, allowing just four hits, two runs and no walks on 121 pitches.<\/p>\n

Next up for the Aggies is 4 p.m. Saturday as they give the ball to Aiden Sims, looking to even the series.<\/p>\n

The Gators were able to walk in a pair of runs. An error by Kellner pushed across two more, pushing their lead to seven heading into the final inning.<\/p>\n

McDonald slapped the Gators fourth double of the game. From there, a Jones single put runners at the corners with one out.<\/p>\n

Shortly after the\u00a0Sdao’s day ended with the Aggies turning to reliever Grant Cunningham, who induced a fly out right field to get out of the inning unscathed.<\/p>\n

An E6 put Wilson on, but that was all as the Aggies left him stranded.<\/p>\n

A Cyr leadoff double was followed by a Lawson double that drove him in to tie the game. Another double by Kurland drove in another run as Florida regained the lead.<\/p>\n

Harrison got on base with a leadoff single, prompting Grahovac to blast a no-doubter to left field, taking the lead with one out.<\/p>\n

Kiel slapped a two-out single through the left side, but that was all for the Aggies in the frame.<\/p>\n
