The third and final day of the Jacksonville Jaguars’ 2026 NFL Draft<\/a> is here. Which players will the franchise select to strengthen their roster for the new season?<\/p>\n

The Day 3 options are many for head coach Liam Coen, general manager James Gladstone and the front office under Jaguars owner Shad Khan. During Friday’s draft, the Jags used selections on Texas A&M tight end Nate Boerkircher<\/a> in the second round and Texas A&M defensive tackle Albert Regis, <\/a>Oregon guard Emmanuel Pregnon<\/a> and Maryland defensive back Jalen Huskey<\/a> in the third round. Jacksonville did not have a first-round selection this year because of the Travis Hunter trade in April 2025.<\/p>\n

Jaguars<\/a>\u00a0general manager James Gladstone mentioned the top of the second round<\/a> as a potential target point, but nothing transpired. Even though Jacksonville got leapfrogged by the New England Patriots, who eventually drafted Illinois defensive end\u00a0Gabe Jacas, it didn’t alter the team’s plans.<\/p>\n

“No. I didn’t actually \u2014 actually my mind did not go to New England getting in front of us at 55,” Gladstone said shortly following the conclusion of rounds two and three when asked if the Patriots surprised him by trading ahead. –Demetrius Harvey<\/p>\n

Arizona is destination for Jacksonville’s Carson Beck<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Arizona Cardinals<\/a>\u00a0ended the suspense Friday by selecting the\u00a0Hurricanes’ quarterback<\/a>\u00a0in the third round at No. 65 overall. –Clayton Freeman<\/p>\n

Ryan O’Halloran: Drafting tight end will give Jaguars coach Liam Coen more options<\/p>\n

It was the only game during Liam Coen\u2019s first season that the\u00a0Jacksonville Jaguars<\/a>\u00a0were handled,\u00a0a 35-7 loss to the Los Angeles Rams<\/a>\u00a0in London last October.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Rams<\/a>\u00a0used \u201c13\u201d personnel (one running back, one receiver and three tight ends) on 23 snaps, part of a season-long pivot by coach Sean McVay to equal parts maximize his available talent and probe new ways at creating mismatches.<\/p>\n

It flummoxed the\u00a0Jaguars<\/a>\u00a0and several other opponents as the Rams led the NFL with 30.5 points per game.<\/p>\n
