So grading these picks a few hours after it’s all said and done is a bit premature, to say the least.

The draft experts were underwhelmed by the Jaguars Day 2 selections, but as Gladstone described, there is a specific vision that he had in mind with those picks.

“We ended up with four guys who fit the bill for exactly what we’re hunting up and feel like we were able to level up in a few different areas that going into 2026, we were really excited about addressing,” Gladstone said on Friday. “As the trends across the NFL begin to show themselves, not only over the last season, but the back half of the season and what we anticipate being big pieces to the puzzle over the course of this next season I think that was a real reflection of the decisions that we made.”

Now, let’s see how the Jaguars’ draft class as a whole graded out. Below is a look at Jacksonville’s 10-man draft class, followed by the grades these picks received.

Expert NFL picks: Exclusive betting insights only at USA TODAY.List of Jaguars’ 2026 NFL draft picksPick 56: Nate Boerkircher, TE, Texas A&MPick 81: Albert Regis, IDL, Texas A&MPick 88: Emmanuel Pregnon, G, OregonPick 100: Jalen Huskey, DB, MarylandPick 119: Wesley Williams, DE, DukePick 164; Tanner Koziol, TE, HoustonPick 191: Josh Cameron, WR, BaylorPick 203: CJ Williams, WR, StanfordPick 233: Zach Durfee, DE, WashingtonPick 240: Parker Hughes, LB, Middle Tennessee StateUSA Today: D

They said it: “They lost RB Travis Etienne and LB Devin Lloyd in free agency but didn’t seem compelled to replace either with a lofty pick this year, opting for a blocking tight end and D-line depth. Third-round G Emmanuel Pregnon is the most notable incoming rookie and the one likely to contribute significantly the earliest.” – Nate Davis

PFF: D+

They said it: “Boerkircher will be one of the oldest prospects in the class as a sixth-year senior, but he showed depth-level NFL ability in 2025. He is a tenacious run blocker with strong competitive toughness and better athleticism than his receiving production suggests. He projects as a Day 3 depth option with versatile blocking value.” – PFF

Sports Illustrated: D

They said it: “If this ends up being one of the better classes in 2026, general manager James Gladstone will be able to laugh at the criticism, but this is my lowest-rated team. On the surface, Boerkircher is a reach who projects as a pure “Y” tight end. Regis will provide depth and Pregnon is a good value as a third-rounder who could start this year or next. However, Huskey is another projection who may be limited to special teams. Without a pick on Thursday, the Jaguars were in a tough spot and they didn’t add enough on Friday to warrant a top grade.” – Matt Verderame

CBS Sports: B-

They said it: “Jacksonville did ace its Emmanuel Pregnon pick in Round 3. The offensive line is far from the Jaguars’ weakest position, but how could they pass on a guard who some thought could have flown off the board on Day 1? That’s an awesome depth addition and the only thing keeping Jacksonville out of the Cs.” – Carter Bahns

Updated April 25, 2026, 11:26 p.m. ET With the dust having somewhat settled on the Jacksonville Jaguars’ 2026…

[8
31,47,116,118,117,1254,9548,298,1256,1758,420,342,332,442,49,4818,300,4729,34
0":"post-246956","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-jacksonville","8":"tag-accessfree","9":"tag-fl","10":"tag-jacksonville","11":"tag-jacksonville-headlines","12":"tag-jacksonville-news","13":"tag-sstssportsnfljaguars","14":"tag-sstsnjaguars","15":"tag-tagamerican-football","16":"tag-tagdevin-lloyd","17":"tag-tagjacksonville","18":"tag-tagjacksonville-jaguars","19":"tag-tagnational-sports","20":"tag-tagnfl","21":"tag-tagnfl-hub","22":"tag-tagoverall-neutral","23":"tag-tagsec-conference-football","24":"tag-tagsports-news","25":"tag-tagtravis-etienne-jr","26":"tag-typestory
["GET
