Please keep checking back for updates on the Dolphins’ undrafted rookie signings; we will add fresh information on top.

Edge player agrees to deal

Western Michigan edge player Rodney McGraw became the 10th undrafted rookie to join the Dolphins, according to his university. The 6-5, 245-pounder played sparingly as a freshman at Penn State, transferred to Louisville but didn’t play and then spent the past two years at Western Michigan.

He had 42 tackles, 8.5 tackles for loss and 7 sacks last season.

Miami adds a second receiver

The Dolphins, who drafted three receivers, added a second undrafted receiver late Saturday night, agreeing to terms with SMU’s Romello Brinson, who previously played at UM.

Brinson, 6-2, had 14 receptions for 189 yards in 20 games over two seasons at Miami, then transferred to SMU, where he had 84 catches for 1204 yards and 5 TDs over three seasons. Last year, he caught 43 passes for 638 yards.

He attended Miami Northwestern High and helped lead the Bulls to state titles in 2017, 2018 and 2019.

All American safety agrees to deal

Louis Moore, who started for national champion Indiana and led the country with six interceptions, agreed to a deal with Miami. He wasn’t drafted because of athletic shortcomings, per NFL.com’s Lance Zierlein.

The 5-10 Moore played his first two college seasons at Indiana, then played one season at Mississippi, then returned to Indiana last season and had 88 tackles and those six picks, which were second-most in the nation.

He nearly didn’t play last season. Heading into the season he was ruled ineligible due to using up all of his eligibility, but he successfully sued the NCAA, arguing that his JUCO seasons should not count towards his eligibility. Among his six interceptions was a pick in Indiana’s upset win at Oregon. He was named a first-team All American after the season.

Zierlein said he’s an “instinctive safety prospect with impressive interception production in 2025. Moore reads his keys and plays with good discipline for proper positioning as a split-field safety. He’s an average athlete, lacking agility and speed, and struggles matching receivers… His athletic deficiencies could be tough to overcome.”

Dolphins add a center

Jim Bonifas, who started 12 games at center for Iowa State last season, agreed to terms with Miami, the Cyclones announced late Saturday night.

Bonifas was named All Big 12 honorable mention and helped create holes for a running game that averaged 175 yards per game last season.

He started at center in 2023, came off the bench in 2024 and regained his starting job last season and led the team in offensive snaps with 845. Pro Football Focus rated his play the 31st best of 303 FBS centers last season. The 6-5, 320-pounder was a three-star recruit out of an Iowa high school.

The Dolphins said that Texas guard DJ Campbell, who was drafted in the sixth round, also likely will compete at center. Andrew Meyer is the incumbent No. 2 center, behind starter Aaron Brewer.

Quarterback Gronowski agrees to terms

The Dolphins agreed to a deal with Iowa quarterback Mark Gronowski, who will compete with second-year player Cam Miller for their No. 3 quarterback job behind Malik Willis and Quinn Ewers.

Miller won two national titles at North Dakota State while Gronowski won two national titles at South Dakota State.

Gronowski spent a lot of time with Dolphins executives over the past five weeks. Dolphins senior personnel executive Jon Robinson, the ex-Titans GM, met with him on the road. Then the team summoned him to their Miami Gardens headquarters to meet with executives and coaches.

Gronowski, who was the MVP of the FCS championship game in both 2023 and 2024 for South Dakota State, was not invited to the NFL Combine but was MVP of the East-West Shrine Bowl. He went 49-6, with 93 touchdowns and 20 interceptions in four seasons at South Dakota State.

He wasn’t as productive in his one season at Iowa, finishing with 10 TDs and seven interceptions, with a 63% completion rate. But he rushed for a Big 10-leading 16 rushing touchdowns on 4.2 yards per carry in his one year in the Big 10.

Butler, Valparaiso and South Dakota State were his only scholarship offers out of high school in Naperville. Ill.

Gronowski, who’s 6-2, holds the record for the most wins by a quarterback in college football history, concluding his career with 58 victories. He surpassed the previous record of 51 wins set by Cullen Finnerty (Grand Valley State) and the 50 wins by FBS record-holder Kellen Moore (Boise State).

Receiver McCulley agrees to deal

The Dolphins agreed to a deal with Michigan 6-4 receiver Donaven McCulley, who had 39 receptions for 588 yards (15.1 per reception) and three touchdowns last season.

Before that, he played four years at Indiana and had 66 catches for 834 yards and 8 TDs.

After the 2023 season at Indiana, he entered the NCAA transfer portal after head coach Tom Allen was fired. McCulley, soon after, removed himself from the portal and returned to the Hoosiers under new head coach Curt Cignetti in 2024.

But midway through the 2024 season, after catching just two passes under Cignetti, McCulley left Indiana and entered the transfer portal again, using the year to redshirt and transferring to Michigan in December 2024.

Konga agrees to deal

Louisville defensive lineman Rene Konga, who took a 30 visit with the Dolphins, agreed to a deal with $287,000 guaranteed, per a source.

He played limited snaps in three years at Rutgers, collecting two sacks in 21 appearances.

He then played two years at Louisville, producing five tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks last season, giving him 11 TFLs and six sacks in five college seasons. The 6-4, 300 pounder, who grew up in Canada, was named second-team All ACC last season.

Dolphins add two running backs

The Dolphins added two running backs after the draft, including Texas A&M’s Le’Veon Moss, who had 77 carries for 404 yards (5.2 per carry) and 6 TDs in seven games last season. He missed time with two injuries, including an ankle issue.

He scored 10 TDs for A&M in 2024, when he averaged 6.3 per carry and was named second-team All-SEC. But he sustained a torn ACL and MCL at the end of the season.

Moss, who is 5-11 and 203 pounds, averaged 5.5 per carry on 321 career carries at Texas A&M and ran for 22 touchdowns. He also caught 24 passes for 236 yards over his four college seasons. The Dolphins gave him $258,000 guaranteed, per a source.

NFL.com had predicted Moss to be drafted in the fifth or sixth rounds.

Miami also agreed to a deal with former Oregon State running back Anthony Hankerson.

At 5-8 and 204 pounds, the former Fort Lauderdale St. Thomas Aquinas standout has very good speed. In high school, he ran a 10.90-second 100-meter dash, which is considered excellent.

He ran 247 times for 1086 yards (a 4.4 average) and 9 TDs last season, after rushing for 1082 yards (4.7 per carry) for the Beavers the previous season.

He played his first two years at Colorado and last two at Oregon State. He has a 4.4 career rushing average on 625 attempts.

He also has caught 70 passes for 369 yards in 44 college games.

Moss and Hankerson will compete with Jaylen Wright and Ollie Gordon II for the No. 2 and No. 3 running back jobs.

Linebacker added

The Dolphins agreed to a deal with Wisconsin linebacker Mason Reiger, who had 22.5 tackles for loss and 13 sacks in three years at Louisville and one season at Wisconsin.

Reiger, who is 6-5 and 251 pounds, had six tackles for loss and five sacks in 11 starts in his one year playing for the Badgers last season. He missed the 2024 season with an injury and was named the defensive MVP in the 2026 East West Shrine Bowl.

The Dolphins gave him $175,000 guaranteed, per Aaron Wilson.

This story was originally published April 25, 2026 at 8:03 PM.

                Barry Jackson

                    Miami Herald

Barry Jackson has written for the Miami Herald since 1986 and has written the Florida Sports Buzz column since 2002.

After drafting 13 players over the past three days, the Dolphins are adding more after the draft.
