MADISON \u2013 CJ Williams<\/a>\u2019 breakout season came just time to catch the eye of NFL scouts.<\/p>\n

The Stanford receiver caught more passes and had more receiver yards during the 2025 season than he had during his previous three years. Williams’ play caught the eye of the Jacksonville Jaguars<\/a>, who selected him in the sixth round of the NFL draft with the 203rd overall pick.<\/p>\n

He was the third former Wisconsin Badger selected in the draft, joining Connecticut receiver Skyler Bell <\/a>and Indiana tight end Riley Nowakowski.<\/a><\/p>\n

CJ Williams draft grade: B-C<\/p>\n

USA TODAY<\/a>, which likes Williams’ skill set, gave the pick a B. CBS Sports<\/a> wasn\u2019t as much of a fan of the selection because he was the second straight receiver taken by the team. It gave the selection a C.<\/p>\n
