Pinellas and Hillsborough deputies continue searching near the Howard Frankland Bridge for missing USF student Nahida Bristy.<\/p>\n

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. \u2014 Deputies with the Pinellas and Hillsborough sheriff’s offices returned to an area close to where they searched for and found the remains of one of the missing University of South Florida<\/a> students earlier this week.<\/p>\n

It remains unclear if deputies have found any new clues or details.<\/p>\n

With a heavy presence, deputies in boats returned Sunday to search close to the Howard Frankland Bridge for Nahida Bristy, one of two missing USF students that authorities have been searching for since mid-April.\u00a0<\/p>\n

USF police said Zamil Limon and Nahida Bristy were last seen on April 16.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The remains of her close friend and fellow USF student, Zamil Limon<\/a>, were found on the Howard Frankland Bridge<\/a>, near the area where deputies have resumed the search once again.<\/p>\n

After deputies found Limon’s body on Friday, authorities arrested his roommate, Hisham Abugharbieh, 26, who is now facing multiple charges, including two counts of first-degree murder. He had his first court appearance on Saturday and is being held at the Falkenburg Road Jail with no bond<\/a>.<\/p>\n

10 Tampa Bay News reached out to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office to request more information. At the time of publishing, no new details were available.<\/p>\n

At the scene, several marine units were present in the water in Tampa Bay.<\/p>\n

Limon was a doctoral student pursuing a degree in geography, environmental science and policy. Bristy is a doctoral student studying chemical engineering.<\/p>\n
