<\/a><\/p>\nThe cranes were parked in the castle\u2019s drained moat but are gone as of Monday. The moat remains drained.<\/p>\n
Another crane was temporarily parked behind the castle<\/a> but was removed a few weeks ago.<\/p>\n Some scrim-covered materials remain in the moat, along with scaffolding. It could be refilled with water in the coming days or weeks if work is done on the castle.<\/p>\n The castle\u2019s 50th anniversary shade of pink<\/a> was painted over with a pale gray color. The royal blue tower roofs were updated with a brighter blue shade.<\/p>\n The fresh color scheme is based on the castle\u2019s original look, although Disney has apparently opted not repaint the bottom half. Though the lower walls have always been gray, they were painted a darker gray for the 50th anniversary.<\/p>\n For reference, below is the castle before and after the 50th anniversary paint job.<\/p>\n And here is a full view of the castle today:<\/p>\n The castle also still has some of the extra gold added during the 50th anniversary.
