JACKSONVILLE BEACH, Fla. \u2014 Outback Steakhouse, 3760 South 3rd St., has permanently closed, according to its Facebook page and a recorded message that plays when calling the restaurant.<\/p>\n
The Australian-inspired chain opened the Jacksonville Beach location in the late 1990\u2019s. A reason for the closure was not given.<\/p>\n
In February 2024, Outback\u2019s parent company, Tampa-based Bloomin\u2019 Brands, announced it was closing<\/a> 41 \u201cunderperforming\u201d stores.
