TONIGHT WE ARE TALKING WITH THE FAMILY OF ONE OF THE TEENS ARRESTED AT ICON PARK SATURDAY NIGHT, JESSIE PAGAN AND I’M LINDSAY LOHAN, THEY SAY THE DEPUTY WHO ARRESTED THAT YOUNG BOY USED EXCESSIVE FORCE BY SLAMMING HIM TO THE GROUND, AND THE BOY AND HIS FAMILY SPOKE EXCLUSIVELY WITH WESH TWO. PATTRIK PEREZ, WHO IS LIVE NEAR ICON PARK, WITH THE DETAILS. PATRICK. YOU HAVE VIDEO OF THAT TAKEDOWN WAS CAUGHT ON MULTIPLE CELL PHONE CAMERAS. IT IS SPREADING ONLINE RIGHT NOW. THE FAMILY SAYS WHAT HAPPENED WAS HEARTBREAKING AND EMBARRASSING, AND THEY HOPE TO GET SOME ACCOUNTABILITY. EXCLUSIVE NEW VIDEO SHARED WITH WESH TWO NEWS SHOWS THE MOMENTS IN ORANGE COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPUTY TOOK DOWN A TEEN DURING A SO-CALLED TAKEOVER OF ICON PARK SATURDAY NIGHT. I’M DOING I’M DOING A LITTLE GOOD. YEAH, BUT MY BACK HURT AND MY LEG STILL HURTING. BUT THAT’S IT. 14 YEAR OLD SEQUOYAH SAYS JUST MOMENTS BEFORE, HE WAS DEFENDING HIMSELF FROM A TEEN WHO HAD PICKED A FIGHT WITH HIM. HE THOUGHT THE DEPUTY WAS JUST ANOTHER TEEN, ALSO TRYING TO THROW IN SOME PUNCHES. HENCE HIS NAME. SO I THOUGHT I WAS GETTING JUMPED, BUT I WASN’T. I LOOKED BEHIND WAS A COP. I TRIED TO STOP. HE JUST. HE JUST GOT ME. SO I GOT BACK UP AND I WAS JUST RIGHT HERE. STILL, HIS FAMILY SAYS HE WAS CHARGED WITH RESISTING ARREST WITHOUT VIOLENCE, AND THEY ALLEGE THE DEPUTY USED EXCESSIVE FORCE. I BELIEVE ONCE ONCE HE GOT HIM ON THE GROUND, ONCE HE TACKLED HIM. AND I FEEL LIKE HE COULD HAVE JUST CUFFED HIM FROM THERE. HE PICKED HIM UP AND HE SLAMMED HIM TO GRANDMOTHER TAMIKA. MARTELLE WORRIES HE COULD HAVE BEEN BADLY HURT. THEY’RE NOT MEAN. THE CHILDREN, YOU KNOW, IF HE HAD CHILDREN, HE. I’M PRETTY SURE HE WOULDN’T WANT NOBODY TO TREAT HIS CHILDREN THAT WAY. DURING SATURDAY NIGHT’S TAKEOVER, THE ORANGE COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE ARRESTED EIGHT OTHER TEENS, RANGING IN AGES FROM 13 TO 16. TWO DEPUTIES ALSO SUFFERED MINOR INJURIES. LITERALLY, WHERE DID THEY GET OUT OF IT? YOU KNOW, SOME PEOPLE WENT TO JAIL. SO I DON’T I DON’T REALLY SEE THE DRAW TO IT. SO MAYBE MAYBE MOST MATURE TEENAGERS WILL SEE. I DON’T REALLY WANT TO BE INVOLVED IN ANY OF THIS. I’M SURE A MAJORITY OF THE KIDS WHO WENT THERE DIDN’T DIDN’T GO THERE TO CAUSE PROBLEMS, BUT A LOT OF THEM DID. AND THE FAMILY TELLS ME THE ARRESTING DEPUTY ENDED UP APOLOGIZING TO THEM ABOUT WHAT HAPPENED, BUT THEY STILL PLAN TO FILE A COMPLAINT WITH THE ORANGE COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE. I DID REACH OUT TO THE SHERIFF’S OFFICE TONIGHT TO GET THEIR COMMENT ON THIS, BUT I HAVE NOT HEARD BACK JUST YET.
