missing truck driver<\/a> the FBI Tampa division was looking has been found dead.<\/p>\nOfficials confirmed Wednesday that the body of 41-year-old Alejandro Jacomino Gonzalez was found in Coastal Georgia, after he went missing the morning of Friday, April 17.<\/p>\n
Gonzalez was last seen at the Brevard County Rest Area on I-95 south in Grant-Valkaria while transporting vehicles from the Port of Brunswick, Georgia, to Miami.<\/p>\n
Investigators say Gonzalez rested for several hours at the Brevard County truck stop, but the truck’s GPS indicated it left sometime that morning to head towards Jacksonville. At that point, he became unreachable.<\/p>\n
The truck and some of the cars have since been recovered after they were found in Port Wentworth, Georgia. Three other vehicles were later located in Florida, but some were still missing.<\/p>\n
The FBI Tampa and Atlanta Divisions are leading the investigation into Gonzalez\u2019s death.<\/p>\n
