a recent interview<\/a>, Landers said the Shakes were a direct inspiration to him growing up to get into music professionally. <\/p>\n\u201cWhen I was coming up, there wasn\u2019t a whole lot of stuff happening in Alabama music wise. And they were for my generation, the band that you look at and think \u2018Oh, you can make it out of here and actually make it on like, a national level, a worldwide level,’\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
WFSU’s Tristan Wood attended both performances, taking pictures of his act and the people from around North Florida who traveled to Tallahassee to watch them.<\/p>\n
